2025 Fantasy Outlook
McCoy is coming off his second straight Pro Bowl berth despite playing just seven games in 2024. The six-year veteran has been very reliable as the Saints' starting center since taking over the role in his 2019 rookie season. McCoy was healthy for OTAs and should be set to reprise his starting role Week 1. Read Past Outlooks

Head coach Kellen Moore relayed Monday that McCoy sustained a season-ending biceps injury during the Saints' 26-14 loss to the Bears on Sunday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
McCoy tore his biceps during Sunday's loss, which will sideline the seventh-year offensive lineman for the rest of the 2025 season. His loss is a severe blow to the Saints' offense, as the 2019 second-rounder was named to the Pro Bowl in each of the last two years. Luke Fortner entered Sunday's game following McCoy's exit, but it could be Cesar Ruiz who shifts over from right guard to center for the rest of the 2025 campaign.

McCoy was named to his first career Pro Bowl after starting all 17 games in 2023. The five-year veteran will once again start at center and provide stability for the Saints' offensive line in 2024.
McCoy missed five games in 2021 due to injury, and he missed four more games after signing a five-year extension in 2022. When healthy, the starting center will be a valuable asset for new starting quarterback Derek Carr.
McCoy will return as the Saints' starting center in 2022 as he continues to be a reliable anchor along the team's offensive line.
A rising third-year center, McCoy was the only Saints player to log 100 percent of the offensive snaps in 2020 and he should remain an every-down player going forward.
