2025 Fantasy Outlook
Daniels has solidified himself as a plus starter at guard throughout his seven seasons in the NFL, with his time in the league having been split between Chicago and Pittsburgh. An Achilles tear shortened his 2024 campaign, but the Dolphins will hope he's able to be ready for Week 1 and perform at something resembling his usual reliable level of play. If Daniels can beat the odds and show out as a plus starter immediately, despite his recovery from a serious injury, Miami's O-line will have a chance to notably surpass expectations. The Dolphins placed Daniels (pectoral) on injured reserve Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Daniels suffered a pectoral injury during the Dolphins' Week 1 loss to the Colts on Sunday. The injury isn't considered season-ending, per Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network, but the 2018 second-rounder will be required to miss at least the next four games, which makes Week 6 against the Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 12 the earliest he is eligible to return. Kion Smith will likely take over as the Dolphins' starting right guard in Daniels' absence.

Daniels appeared in 15 of 17 games for the Steelers in 2023 and will serve as the team's starting right guard in 2024.
Daniels is the Steelers' starting right guard.
Daniels spent the first four seasons of his career in Chicago but is in line to serve as the Steelers' starting right tackle in 2022 after he signed a three-year contract with the team in March.
The Bears drafted Daniels in the second round of the 2018 draft, and he was a solid contributor to the line until suffering a chest injury in 2020 that caused him to miss the last three months of the season. He should move right back into the starting lineup this season, and continue as a strong contributor along the line.
