Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Hankins is heading into his 13th NFL season and his second with the Seahawks. Last year, the 2013 second-round pick averaged 21.8 snaps per game and posted 30 tackles, including 1.0 sack, and an interception through 17 games. Hankins isn't going to push Byron Murphy for the starting role, but he's a dependable rotational option. Read Past Outlooks

Let go by Seattle
The Seahawks released Hankins (back) from the reserve/non-football injury list with a non-injury settlement Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
Hankins' tenure in Seattle has come to an end after he had been on the non-football injury list since August. The 33-year-old won't be able to return this season, but he will look to get healthy and catch on with another team in time for the start of the 2026 campaign.

The 31-year-old was traded from the Raiders to the Cowboys in October last season to help shore up Dallas' run defense, but instead a pectoral injury caused him to miss the final four games of the regular season. Hankins re-signed with the Cowboys in the offseason, and he'll give Dan Quinn's unit some experience and handle a rotational role while mentoring 2023 first-round pick Mazi Smith and the team's other young defensive tackles.
