2025 Fantasy Outlook
Sewell is one of the league's most dominant offensive lineman, and he'll enter his fifth NFL season with the Lions in 2025. He's been selected as a first-team All-Pro in back-to-back years as Detroit's starting right tackle. Read Past Outlooks

November 14, 2025
Sewell (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
Sewell ended the week with a DNP on Friday, but that could have been a maintenance day as the fifth-year tackle manages an ankle injury that he likely picked up during Detroit's Week 10 win over Washington. Dan Skipper would be the top option to start at right tackle for Sewell if the latter is not cleared to play Sunday.

Could become league's best RT
OTDetroit Lions
August 13, 2023
Bill Barnwell of ESPN.com believes Sewell could supplant Lane Johnson as the league's best right tackle in 2023.
ANALYSIS
Sewell has the skills to play left tackle at a high level, but he's been deployed on the right side since Detroit already has a solid starter at left tackle in Taylor Decker. Coming off a Pro-Bowl season, Sewell's already among the league's top right tackles. The seventh overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft could be even better in his third year, while the 33-year-old Johnson may start to experience age-related decline after getting the first-team All-Pro nod at right tackle in 2022.
