2025 Fantasy Outlook
Hadwin had his best season on the PGA Tour in 2023, and while he didn't quite play up to that level in 2024, he still fared pretty well. The fact that Hadwin did not take a major step back after a career year in 2023 is a good sign and at age 37, he should have a few more solid years in him before the slow decline sets in. If there is a concern regarding Hadwin it's that his play fell off quite a bit towards the end of the season in 2024 and he did play four less events that the previous year. With that said, he's shown enough consistency over the past couple seasons justify the thought that he should again finish around the top-50 in 2025. Read Past Outlooks
Tough weekend in Bermuda
Hadwin fired a four-over 75 on Sunday at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship to finish seven-under par and tied for 11th place.
ANALYSIS
Hadwin began his week on top of the leaderboard as he opened with a six-under 65 in the first round. He was able to continue his stellar play from round one and carry it into round two as he fired a five-under 66, which included a bogey free back nine on Friday. Unfortunately, Hadwin struggled on the weekend as he failed to get anything going on Saturday, shooting an even-par 71, and then struggled Sunday with a four-over 75. His struggles Sunday began with his inability to find the short grass off the tee, as he ranked T47 in driving accuracy. He also struggled on the greens Sunday, failing to make any birdies, ranking 68th in the field in putts per GIR with 2.08 putts. This T11 finish for Hadwin is his best of the fall season, and while he liked to forget the weekend, his play on Thursday and Friday is what he'd like to replicate when he makes his next fall start.

Hadwin is one of the more consistent players on the PGA Tour, but he's often failed to show much upside, which is why last year's performance was surprising. Entering this past season, Hadwin had a total of five top-3s in eight full seasons on the PGA Tour, but he picked up three alone this past year. Hadwin made cuts at the second-lowest rate of his career, yet it was his most productive campaugn. The difference this past year was the putter as Hadwin ranked 21st in SG: Putting. If he can keep that up, he'll be in the same range once again, but it's doubtful he can play much better, making him a poor salary cap selection.
