2024 Fantasy Outlook
Svensson struggled in his rookie season on the PGA Tour, but played well enough in the 2021-2022 season to earn his card for this past season. He took full advantage of his playing privileges by winning early in the season at the RSM Classic. With that win, he gained access to many elevated events and while he didn't accomplish a lot at those events, he ended the season with over $4.5 million in earnings. The problem looking forward however is that Svensson has done most of his damage against lesser fields and his number is set pretty high for this season. Expect a regression from Svensson this season. Read Past Outlooks
Six par-breakers in final round at ZOZO
October 30, 2024
Svensson fired a five-under 65 on Sunday at the ZOZO Championship to finish four-under and tied for 46th.
ANALYSIS
Svensson's final round in Japan was highlighted by five birdies and one eagle on the par-5 18th hole, where his second shot from 263 yards out settled within 12 feet from the cup. The Canadian ultimately ranked T7 among the field in driving accuracy, but he lost four strokes putting across 72 holes. Svensson drops one spot to No. 81 in the FedExCup Fall standings ahead of the upcoming World Wide Technology Championship.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
2018
Svensson made the playoffs for the first time in his career on the heels of a strong Korn Ferry season in 2021, posting three top-10s but zero top-5s. He posted solid numbers in driving accuracy (40th) and strokes-gained approach (41st) but struggles to contend with his lack of distance and mediocre short game. It's easy for him to get lost in the shuffle with the other average Tour pros.
Svensson will return to the PGA Tour after a two-year hiatus in which he racked up two wins, eight top-10s and 19 top-25s through 41 total events played during the Korn Ferry Tour's 2020-21 super season. One of the aforementioned victories came in late August at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship, which marked the second leg of the KFT Finals. The Canadian ended his KFT campaign ranked top-15 in GIR percentage, driving accuracy and birdie average.
The Canadian 24-year-old missed the cut during his lone start on the PGA Tour in 2018, which came on native soil at the RBC Canadian Open in July. Svensson racked up four top-10s and a win at the Bahams Great Abaco Classic on the Web.com Tour, however, climbing to 14th in the regular season money list. He ranked just 131st in total driving, but was fourth in par-three scoring.
