2025 Fantasy Outlook
A two-time winner on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2023, Kim was unable to work his way into contention at the higher level, failing to record a top-5 and finished a mediocre 112nd in the FedExCup Standings. Kim was still able to make over 70 percent of his cuts, even with a cold putter, gaining strokes on the greens in just six tournaments. He made up for it by finishing the year 16th in SG: Tee-to-Green, showing signs that there's room for improvement. Whether Kim can compete against stronger fields remains to be seen, but his ball striking is more than capable of carrying the weight against weaker fields. Read Past Outlooks
Best PGA Tour result
Kim closed with a one-under 71 on Sunday at the Valero Texas Open to finish four-under and in a share of fifth place.
ANALYSIS
Coming off a T14 at the event last year, Kim had another strong showing at TPC San Antonio, posting three under-par rounds under difficult scoring conditions for a top-5 result. He did it despite losing strokes off the tee as he ranked 11th in SG: Approach and around the green for the week. The T5 finish is Kim's best career result on the PGA Tour and one of three top-20s over his last seven starts.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
An eight-time winner on the Japan Golf Tour, this 33-year-old journeyman bolstered his professional resume with back-to-back triumphs at the Korn Ferry Tour's Magnit Championship and Albertsons Boise Open in August, ultimately catapulting him to the No. 2 spot on the KFT's final points list. Kim finished the 2023 season top-15 in both birdie average and scrambling, but he also missed nine cuts in 25 starts. He's set to become a PGA Tour member for the first time in his career, but his rookie eligibility was exhausted when he made nine appearances during the 2021-22 season, which included a pair of top-25s at the ZOZO Championship and the Puerto Rico Open.
