Solo second at Dubai Invitational

Hillier fired a bogey-free, six-under 65 in the final round of the Dubai Invitational to finish in solo second, one stroke behind winner Nachio Elvira.

ANALYSIS
Hillier put together a fantastic final round in Dubai, highlighted by his eagle on the par-5 13th. He was one of five players to share the lead at nine-under on the back nine, but he wasn't able to match Elvira's birdie on the par-4 17th. It was a strong performance from Hillier, who was close to capturing his second victory on the DP Tour (and first since January of 2023 at the Betfred British Masters), and he finished the Dubai Invitational third and eighth in the field in SG: Approach (1.65) and SG: Off the Tee (0.61), respectively. Hillier will be in the field for the Hero Dubai Desert Classing that tees off Thursday.
