Kjettrup signed with Cleeks GC in January after a four-year college career at Florida State, where he was a three-time All-American. There was optimism about the injection of youth into the team, but the 25-year-old Dane never got a chance to showcase his potential in the LIV Golf league. He didn't earn a single point through 12 tournaments and finished in the bottom-50 in six events (including dead last in three), with his T30 in Mexico City representing his best placement. Kjettrup's chances of being retained for the 2026 season are low, but he would earn a spot for himself by winning LIV's Promotion Event in December or through cumulative strong showings at Asian Tour events in the fall. Kjettrup will play alongside team members Adrian Meronk, Richard Bland and captain Martin Kaymer at the LIV Golf Team Championship in Michigan this weekend, with Cleeks GC entering as the 11th seed.
