Svensson finished in a share of second place at the Bahrain Championship after shooting a two-under 70 in the final round.
ANALYSISSvensson looked as if he was on his way to a maiden DP World Tour win, but made a sloppy bogey on the par 5 14th hole while
Dylan Frittelli made birdie to turn the tide. Svensson would have to settle for second, something he did back at the South African Open Championship as well. The 27-year-old is definitely one to watch out for in the future and is now up to 11th in the Race to Dubai. Svensson will tee it up again next week at the Qatar Masters.
