Svensson had five top-5 finishes on the DP World Tour last season and closed with a T7 at the DP World Tour Championship to secure a PGA Tour card for 2025. The Swede won for the first time on the DPWT last March at the Singapore Classic. Svensson withdrew from the tournament Monday due to an undisclosed issue, and he'll be replaced by Dylan Frittelli. Svensson most recently participated in the Amgen Irish Open in early September, where he finished 72nd overall with a 72-hole score of eight-over-par.
