Svensson had five top-5 finishes on the DP World Tour last season and closed with a T7 at the DP World Tour Championship to secure a PGA Tour card for 2025. The Swede won for the first time on the DPWT last March at the Singapore Classic. Svensson is one of the longest drivers out there and also showed solid touch ranking top-40 in scrambling and SG: Putting. Svensson carded an even-par 71 on Sunday at the Mexico Open at VidantaWorld to finish seven-under and tied for 49th.
ANALYSIS
Svensson ranked second among the field in both SG: Off-the-Tee and driving distance throughout his week at Vidanta Vallarta, though he lost a collective 5.41 strokes on and around the Paspalum greens. Nonetheless, he's now made the cut in back-to-back starts ahead of the upcoming Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches where he'll be making his PGA National debut.
