Ballester made his LIV Golf debut after signing a multi-year contract with Fireballs GC. Perhaps the nerves of playing at the professional level played into Ballester's poor performance in Virginia, and he finished the tournament near the bottom of most statistical categories including driving accuracy (50th) and birdies made (T48). As the reigning U.S. Amateur champion, Ballester will be in the field this weekend at the U.S. Open at Oakmont.
