2026 Fantasy Outlook
After a career year in 2024 when he racked up over $2.4M in official earnings, Lower notched just three top-25s throughout 29 events played in 2025, ultimately dropping to 120th in the FedExCup Fall standings to lose full status on the PGA Tour for 2026. Lower made a run at the top 100 with a T3 at the Bank of Utah Championship in late October, but he missed back-to-back cuts at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship and The RSM Classic to close out the season. He's a relatively short hitter that lost strokes across the board. Read Past Outlooks

Lower would be best described as a late-bloomer considering the 35-year-old just had his best season on Tour. He had four top-5s, two of which came in November, so the current form is strong. There's still question as to if he can elevate against better competition as his best events came against weaker fields and success in the fall doesn't always translate to early season success. Lower isn't long or that accurate off the tee which puts him at a disadvantage, but his wedge play and putting can make him a strong contender at shorter venues.
Although Lower carded a T8 in the Rocket Mortgage Classic, he failed to place higher than 25th in any event until the fall, making three consecutive cuts. including a 20th-place finish in the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Lower's metrics are unremarkable in any particular category, although he finished the 2023 season ranked 32nd in Putting and 20th in Proximity.
Lower had a relatively public heartbreak to finish the year, as he missed a 6-footer on his final hole of the regular season to miss the playoffs by just a few points. That said, earning continued Tour status should help soften the blow, and Lower will look to capitalize on another busy schedule in 2023. He made 17 of 24 cuts in 2022, and his best finish was a T8 at the Barbasol Championship.
Lower has appeared in just four total PGA Tour events since his debut in 2013, but the 32-year-old finally earned a card of his own after a clutch top-15 performance at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship to secure the very last spot among the Finals 25. Lower's 2020-21 KFT season included a pair of runner-up efforts and 13 top-25s, while he ranked 13th in GIR percentage and 21st in birdie average.
