Secures third in Rolex Series event
January 20, 2025
Canter closed with a four-under 68 on Sunday to finish in solo third place at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.
ANALYSIS
Canter shot a trio of 68's for the week in Dubai, but the 71 in round three was the reason he ended up just two shots adrift of forcing a playoff with Tyrrell Hatton. Canter moves inside the top 100 of the OWGR. He collected his first DP World Tour win last summer at the European Open. This third-place finish gives him his seventh top-25 in his last 11 starts. Canter is now back to full-time on the DPWT and will look to use this finish in the first Rolex Series event to propel him into a big season. He is not listed in the field for the Ras Al Khaimah Championship.
