2025 Fantasy Outlook
Hodges did just enough during his rookie season of 2022 to secure his card for the following season, but in his second season, he left nothing to chance by winning the 3M Open in July. In total, he captured 10 top-25s and three top-10s on his way to over $3 million in earnings. It was a perfect springboard to season three, except he failed to get much lift in his third season. Though he played better than in his rookie season, Hodges failed to crack the top-70 and made less than $2.5 million this past season. Perhaps it was a hangover from his win the previous season and a lack of urgency, but whatever the case, this season will go a long way to determining what kind of golfer Hodges will be moving forward. Hodges may have punched above his weight in his second season and as such, he'll likely come in closer to his 2024 numbers this season than his 2023 numbers. Read Past Outlooks
Narrowly loses Tour card
Hodges posted a four-under 66 on Sunday at The RSM Classic to finish in a share of fourth place.
ANALYSIS
Starting the day four shots off the lead, Hodges carded pars on the first six holes to essentially fall out of contention but managed five birdies thereafter for the top-5 result. He impressed with his iron play in Sea Island, ranking eighth in SG: Approach and T1 in GIR. Unfortunately, he finished 101st in the FedExCup leaving him as the first person to miss out on a Tour card for 2026.

Through two seasons on the PGA Tour, Hodges hasn't shown much consistency, but every once in a while he pops up for a big showing. That big showing this past year came at the 3M Open where he picked up his first PGA Tour win. That win propelled him to nearly $4 million in earnings and a top-50 spot on the FedEx list. Hodges will need to play better against better competition this season in order to improve upon his numbers from this past season and there's no guarantee that he will. As such, he's a risky salary cap option this season.
