2025 Fantasy Outlook
Kuchar looked to be showing signs of his age for most of the season, missing 9-of-11 cuts to start the year before flipping the switch with his iron play during the summer to help post four top-15s within a five tournament stretch. Still, he only had one top-10 across 26 events, and the 46-year-old continues to lose distance off the tee putting him at quite a disadvantage to his younger counterparts. While his ceiling is capped at this point of his career, his ability to hit fairways combined with a strong wedge and short game make him viable on shorter tracks. Read Past Outlooks
Logs best finish of year
Kuchar shot a five-under 66 in the final round to finish in a share of fifth place at the John Deere Classic.
ANALYSIS
Kuchar got off to a hot start on Sunday with birdies on four of the first five holes. He lost ground with bogeys at 8 and 9, but got those shots right back with birdies at 10 and 11. Kuchar would notch his best finish of the year with birdies at 16 and 17 against one bogey on 15. Kuchar lost strokes off the tee for the week, but was top-20 in SG: Approach, SG: Around and SG: Putting. He moves up to 112th in the FedExCup standings, but will not be at either event next week.

Kuchar posted great numbers during the 2018-2019 season and when he followed that up with three sub-par seasons, it was thought that he'd slowly ride off into the sunset, but Kuchar had something else in mind. He didn't break the bank this past season, but he did find a couple top-3s and he made the cut in over 80% of his starts. That's the good news, the bad news is, he'll turn 46 this season and his game is bound to decline soon. Kuchar's game won't fall off a cliff, but it's likely to show some signs of aging this season.
