2025 Fantasy Outlook
The 2018 Masters champion was coming off a strong 2023 LIV Golf season, during which he had five top-5 finishes and finished sixth in the individual standings. Reed didn’t enjoy that level of success in 2024, as he had just two top-5 finishes and landed at 20th in the individual standings, which was good enough to guarantee his spot in the LIV Golf League for 2025. Reed finished T12 and T53 at The Masters and PGA Championship, respectively, but failed to qualify for the U.S. Open Championship and The Open. Reed is exempt for the Masters in 2025 and will either have to qualify or receive an invitation to play in the other three majors. Read Past Outlooks
Wins LIV Golf Dallas in playoff
Reed won LIV Golf Dallas after beating out Louis Oosthuizen, Paul Casey and Jinichiro Kozuma in a four-way playoff.
ANALYSIS
Reed entered the final round with a three-shot lead after carding 67-68 over the first two days of the tournament. That lead quickly evaporated after going three-over in the front nine that included five bogeys, but he managed to make clutch up-and-downs to stick around at the top of the table. With the field struggling at Maridoe Golf Club on Sunday -- including Tyrrell Hatton, Harold Varner III and Tom McKibbin, all of whom sat at the top of the leaderboard at some point in the final round -- Reed managed to sneak into the playoff, and he was the only player out of the four to sink a birdie on the par-4 18th to seal the first LIV Golf victory of his career and the first pro victory in his home state of Texas. Reed's win earned him 40 points and vaulted him past Sergio Garcia into fourth in the LIV Golf individual season standings with 81.08 points. Reed will participate in the BMW International Open in Munich, Germany this week before heading to Spain for LIV Golf Andalucia starting July 11. He finished T4 on the challenging Valderrama course in 2024.

Reed will play in all four majors again because he finished fourth at last year's Masters. He made all four cuts last year and could very well do so again, with his best chance of contending once again coming at Augusta.
