2025 Fantasy Outlook
Hoey's 2024 campaign was a tale of two seasons. The Tour rookie missed his first four cuts and had just one top-25 through 15 events, but he flipped the switch thereafter with four top-10s, including a playoff loss in an alterate event. His ball-striking numbers indicate that he's likely not just a flash in the pan considering he ranked ninth in SG: Off-the-tee, 83rd in approach and 19th in GIR. Fourth consecutive top-25 finish
Hoey closed with a one-over 72 on Sunday at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship to finish three-under and tied for 22nd.

Hoey hit only five of 14 fairways in regulation during Sunday's final round at Port Royal, but he salvaged a top-25 result by racking up 15 total birdies and two eagles throughout the week. He rises one spot to No. 57 in the FedExCup Fall standings ahead of The RSM Classic, and Hoey has now placed T22 or better in four consecutive starts dating back to a T4 at the Baycurrent Classic.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Hoey's maiden Korn Ferry Tour victory arrived not long after he began the 2023 season with top-10 results in half of his first 10 outings, eventually winning the Visit Knoxville Open in late May. The former University of Southern California standout becomes a PGA Tour rookie at 28 years old, and his patience could pay off in a big way if the driver continues to cooperate. He paced the entire KFT in total driving and ranked fourth in par-5 scoring throughout the 2023 campaign, but the putter remains a concern.
