2025 Fantasy Outlook
Moore followed up a very solid rookie season in 2023 with an even better season in 2024. During that season he picked up his first win and over $5 million in earnings. Considering he was entering just his third season on the PGA Tour this past season, it wasn't much of a surprise that he took a step back. It's rare that a young golfer can back up a $5 million season with an even better season, so there's no reason to be down on Moore entering his 4th season. If anything, his setback might serve him well this season as he'll has something to prove this year. Moore decided to play seven less tournaments this past year vs. the previous year, which might have had something to do with winning the previous year, but expect him to find that hunger again this season and post better numbers this year. Posts four rounds in the 60s
January 20, 2025
Moore closed with a four-under 68 in the final round of The American Express to finish in a share of seventh place.
ANALYSIS
Although Moore was never in contention in Palm Springs, he had a consistent week with four rounds in the 60s and closed with a bogey-free 68. He was led by his short-game, going a perfect 21-for-21 scrambling. It's a positive sign to start the year for Moore, as he had just one top-10 since last April. He's in the field for next week's Farmers Insurance Open, where he has a best finish of T11 across three appearances.

2022
Moore posted solid numbers in his rookie season (2021-2022), but not many expected quite the jump that we saw this past year. Moore won the Valspar Championship in March and posted a 5th-place finish at the FedEx St. Jude in August, which was an elevated event. The one knock on Moore so far in his young PGA Tour career is consistency. He's only made 60 percent of his cuts over two seasons, and while he's flashing some nice upside, he's not proven to be as reliable as others in the top-40. As such, he's not a great salary cap selection this season.
Moore was one of several rookies to crack the top-70 this past season, although his route was a bit unspectacular. Moore took a slow and steady route to the top-70, using a pair of top-10s at the end of the season to sneak into the playoffs, then playing just well enough at the FedEx St. Jude Championship to make the field for the BMW Championship. In all, Moore made the cut in 18 of 28 starts, and posted just four top-10s all season. His numbers this past season were tame, but he was able to win on the Korn Ferry Tour the year prior, so perhaps this was just an adjustment year for Moore. You can see some upside here based on how he finished the season, so getting off to a strong start in the fall will be key for Moore.
Placing top-25 in more than half of his 39 starts on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2020-21, Moore earns a PGA Tour card for the first time thanks in large part to a win at the Memorial Health Championship in July, which preceded a runner-up result the following week at the Price Cutter Charity Championship. Moore added two more top-10s during the KFT Finals, ultimately ending the season fourth in scoring average, fifth in ball striking and sixth in scrambling.
