Not playing full-time on PGA Tour
Singh confirmed that despite using a career money exemption this season he will not play full-time on the PGA Tour, Max Schreiber of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Singh made a lot of headlines a couple weeks ago when he elected to use a career money exemption at age 62 for the 2026 PGA Tour season. He said confirmed to SI on Tuesday that he planned to just play a few events here and there on the PGA Tour and will stick to competing on the PGA Tour Champions full-time. Singh played the Sony Open in Hawaii last week and finished T40 against some of the world's best players. It was his first time walking 18 holes in a long time. Singh uses a cart on the PGA Tour Champions, but he is not allowed to do so on the PGA Tour. Singh said he will likely stick to playing PGA Tour courses that are on the flatter side to make the walk easier. He will play the Mitsubishi Electric Championship on the 50-and-over tour this week and hinted at possibly making his next PGA Tour start at the WM Phoenix Open (Feb. 5-8).

Singh is a "Life Member," having won at least 20 times and played at least 15 seasons. Well into his Champions Tour career, Singh played 18 PGA Tour events last season. He made only six cuts, but two of them were top-25s, including an impressive T16 at The Players and a T14 at the Canadian Open. Those two finishes carried Singh to 178th in the point standings and earnings of $337,305. Not too shabby for a 54-year-old, but also not too valuable for fantasy purposes.
