There's only a month left in the NHL season. We're down to the nitty-gritty, and the time to improve your fantasy team's standing is growing limited. However, there's still the opportunity to gain a little ground with your power-play output, and here are some players that might be available to provide that assistance…
Mike Fisher, C, NAS – Fisher is perhaps the most surprising power-play success story this season. Before this year, he had never had more than 14 power-play points in a year. Now, he finds himself with 17 in 62 games. Fisher got off to a hot start on the power play, but he hasn't merely rested on his laurels, as he has three power-play points in his last six games. Nobody gets excited about having Fisher on their roster, which is why — despite his power-play success — he's still readily available in most leagues.
Sam Reinhart, C, BUF – Reinhart is on the opposite end of his career from Fisher. While Fisher is a veteran who has passed his prime, Reinhart is a 20-year-old second-overall pick in his second full season. He's already shown himself to be a force on the power play in his fledging career. Reinhart has tallied 17 power-play points, including four in his last 11 games. He's averaged 3:10 per game with the extra man, so the opportunity is clearly there, and it won't be going away anytime soon.

Jonathan Marchessault, LW, FLA – Marchessault got a little press early in the season when he found himself unexpectedly near the top of the scoring leaderboard. That was a short-lived event, but this has still been a true breakout year for Marchessault. He's been particularly potent on the power play, as he's notched 15 points with the extra man in 58 games. Those numbers aren't a total byproduct of that early hot start either, as he's registered four power-play points in his last 10 contests. It took Marchessault a little while to find his footing in the NHL, but he's looking like a legitimate fantasy factor.
Paul Stastny, C, STL – Per usual, Stastny has had some issues staying healthy, but in 60 games he's tallied 12 power-play points. That's not a great total, but it's not bad, especially for a player with Stastny's upside. Additionally, since returning from his latest injury, Stastny has two power-play points in six games. If he has a little luck down the stretch, he could be quite beneficial for your fantasy team.
Sami Vatanen, D, ANA– Twelve of Vatanen's 21 points have come with the extra man, although he's only played in 57 games, which makes his numbers look a little better. He's averaged 2:56 per game on the power play, and over the last two seasons he's notched 17 and 19 power-play points respectively.
Colton Parayko, D, STL – Parayko has 10 power-play points, including four goals. Notably, those are all the goals Parayko has recorded this year. He's put 153 shots on goal in 65 games, but has been hindered by a 3.3 shooting percentage. However, there's another reason beyond the potential for better puck luck to get you intrigued about Parayko. Now that Kevin Shattenkirk has been traded, a lot of power-play time has been opened up for the Blues. Parayko is as likely as anybody to step into that void.
