Hot

Dustin Penner (W) Los Angeles - The big power forward gets a nice change of scenery with his trade from Edmonton to Los Angeles on Monday. Perhaps heading out to the land of beaches, bikinis, and a playoff race will be enough to spark a hot end to the season.
Jimmy Howard (G) Detroit - Underlying numbers aren't all that great, but Howard does keep piling up the Ws and the Wings showed just how much faith they have in their young netminder with a two-year contract extension.

Cold

Jarome Iginla (W) Calgary - Only two assists in his last five games. Iginla got off to a slow start this season but has been tearing it up since December. He had to cool off sooner or later, but is picking a bad time for the Flames as they are in a heated battle to reach the playoffs in the Western Conference.
Tomas Vokoun (G) Florida - Not only has Vokoun only won one of his last five games, but he didn't get traded to a contender at the deadline either. Oh well, it's not like playing in south Florida is the worst gig on the planet.

Recommended Pickup

Dan Ellis (G) Anaheim - With Jonas Hiller out with vertigo, you could do worse than trying to hit gold with Ellis. Starting goalies with upside are hard to find at this point in your fantasy season.
