Dylan DeMelo News: Cuts off potential collapse

DeMelo scored a goal and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Islanders.

DeMelo's goal came just over two minutes after the Islanders scored three times in a span of 2:41. The 32-year-old defenseman has three points over seven games in January, including two of his three goals on the season. He's contributed 16 points, 34 shots on net, 69 hits, 65 blocked shots, 32 PIM and a plus-12 rating over 45 appearances. DeMelo remains in a shutdown role in the Jets' top four.
