While the Jets have begun to tumble down the Central Division standings amid offensive inconsistencies, the 27-year-old winger has been incredibly steady through it all. After reaching the 20-point threshold last year, Barron fell two points shy of that mark in 2023-24, recording 11 goals and seven helpers. The fourth-line winger does add some physicality and has reached the 100-hit mark in each of the previous two seasons. Still, Barron's limited offensive numbers, combined with the fact that he plays on a primarily defensively-minded line, doesn't particularly endear the 25-year-old Nova Scotian to fantasy managers. In deeper formats, there could be some value in keeping Barron around but most managers should consider alternative options.
