2025 Fantasy Outlook
Fresh off of signing a six-year extension in March, Hill fell short in the playoffs as the Golden Knights made a second-round exit against the Oilers. Still, that contract guarantees his status as the top goalie in Vegas for at least most of the rest of the decade. He had a fine regular season with a 32-13-5 record, a 2.47 GAA and a .906 save percentage over a career-high 50 games. At 29 years old, Hill is in his prime and playing for an always-in-the-mix team, giving him a great chance of racking up wins in 2025-26. The Golden Knights' defense is typically pretty strong, so Hill won't help as much in save percentage, but he's a low-end No. 1 goalie for fantasy. Read Past Outlooks

Health is the only thing standing in Hill's path to being a top-10 fantasy netminder. He dominated in the postseason in 2022-23 and helped the Golden Knights win the Stanley Cup. Hill opened last season with a 14-2-2 run, leading the NHL in every stat in the first couple of months. The sky seemed the limit, but injuries took him down for the third season in a row, and he missed almost two months mid-season. This past summer, Hill's sole focus was building up health to prevent injuries. If successful, he could be better than top-10. Handcuff him to newcomer Ilya Samsonov as a precaution.
