In starter's crease Monday
Lyon skated in the starter's crease at Monday's game-day skate, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports, indicating he'll be in goal at home versus Montreal.
ANALYSIS
Lyon has struggled for wins down the stretch, going 2-2-2 with a 2.83 GAA and .915 save percentage in his last six outings. With the Red Wings entering a back-to-back, fantasy managers can expect James Reimer to man the crease for Tuesday's road clash with Montreal. If the Wings don't make the playoffs, Lyon could be making his final appearance of the year Monday.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2020
2018
Lyon had an 11-14-5 record with a 2.69 GAA and a .913 save percentage in 32 games with AHL Lehigh Valley last year, but that didn't translate to NHL success. With Carter Hart and Brian Elliott both under contract this year, Lyon's path to playing time will be crowded. Instead, the 28-year-old goalie is almost certainly destined for the Flyers' taxi squad, where he'll be an emergency depth option. Fantasy managers can pass on the Minnesota native in 2020-21, and it's unlikely at this point he'll ever be more than a backup in the NHL.
