Carrier finished the 2024-25 regular season with three goals, 25 points, 40 PIM, 82 shots, 75 hits and 169 blocks across 79 appearances with Nashville and Montreal. That was pretty typical of the 28-year-old (29 on Oct. 8) in terms of offensive production -- it was the third time in four seasons that he has recorded between 20 and 30 points -- but it was a career high for him in blocks, surpassing his 137 from 2023-24. Spending a full season with Montreal likely won’t meaningfully change his value, especially after he logged 51 regular-season outings with the Canadiens in 2024-25, but his plus-minus rating should be better than last year’s minus-10 rating.
