2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bottom-six forwards are almost always not noteworthy offensively, and Toropchenko is no exception. He had four goals and 18 points across 80 regular-season appearances in 2024-25, which is about as much as fantasy managers should expect from him this year. He’s not a good source of PIM either -- he has 55 over his past two seasons -- but the 26-year-old did tie for 17th in hits with 223. If poolies need hits and are willing to accept minimal contributions in other categories, then Toropchenko is an option. However, most fantasy managers will have the luxury of finding forwards who can give them hits while also contributing elsewhere. Read Past Outlooks

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Toropchenko was quickly promoted to the big club during the 2022-23 season and he latched on full-time last season, ringing up 14 goals and seven assists across 82 games in a bottom-six capacity. The 6-foot-6, 222-pound winger has enough offensive upside to contribute to deeper fantasy formats, and his physical abilities are a boon to leagues that reward such efforts, as he dished out 165 hits last season. The 25-year-old is heading into his contract season as he aims to post 10-plus goals for the third straight season.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
No supplemental discipline
Toropchenko will not be fined or suspended for his role in a knee-on-knee collision with Logan Cooley in Saturday's game against the Mammoth, Matthew DeFranks of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Cooley left the game and did not return, but he seems to have avoided a major injury. The league and Department of Player Safety viewed Toropchenko's actions as a "natural stopping motion without leading or extending the knee." Toropchenko was assessed a major penalty and a game misconduct for the play during the contest.
