2025 Fantasy Outlook
Lee got a look with the Kings early in 2024-25, earning his first 19 NHL appearances over a couple of stints. He produced three points, 36 hits, 18 shots on net, 11 PIM and a minus-5 rating while filling a bottom-six role. The Kings made additions on the wings this offseason, so Lee is likely to spend most of 2025-26 with AHL Ontario. The 25-year-old had just 20 points in 48 regular-season outings with the Reign, so his scoring upside is minimal even if he can carve out more playing time with the big club. Read Past Outlooks
Receives call-up
Lee was recalled from AHL Ontario on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Lee and Taylor Ward received call-ups on an emergency basis from the Kings, while Corey Perry (personal) moved to the non-roster list. Lee is in the midst of his best offensive campaign in the AHL with 15 goals, 27 points, 60 shots on net and a 25.0 shooting percentage across 32 games this season. The 25-year-old forward will join a Kings team that has struggled with consistency since the start of December, posting a 6-8-2 record. He will probably be in the lineup for Wednesday's game against San Jose.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Likely to make roster
Lee is expected to make the Kings' Opening Night roster, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
ANALYSIS
Lee has no points over four preseason games, but the Kings have liked his effort. The seventh-round pick from 2019 may be sent down to AHL Ontario before the Kings' first game in Buffalo on Thursday, but it's likely to just be a paper transaction as the team manages a tight cap and long-term injury absences for Drew Doughty and Arthur Kaliyev.
