ANALYSIS
In two seasons at UMass, Suniev recorded 32 goals and 31 assists in 71 contests. Selected by the Flames in the third round of the 2023 NHL Draft, the 20-year-old winger may have to spend the bulk of the 2025-26 campaign in the minors but could make his NHL debut at some point next year if he can adjust to the speed of the professional game.
