2025 Fantasy Outlook
Miromanov generated two goals, seven assists, 52 shots on net and 55 blocked shots over 44 regular-season appearances in 2024-25. He wasn’t a regular in the lineup for the Flames and could face competition for playing time again in 2025-26. Miromanov has displayed some offensive upside on the power play, but those opportunities could be few and far between, as MacKenzie Weegar is locked in on the top unit. Still, Miromanov could pile up blocks and shots if he claims an every-game spot in the lineup. Read Past Outlooks
Called up from AHL
Miromanov was recalled from AHL Calgary on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Miromanov was recalled as the Flames are down to six healthy defensemen, after Zayne Parekh was forced to leave Friday's game with an upper-body injury after being hit into the boards by Chicago's Nick Foligno. Miromanov played one game with the Flames earlier in the season, blocking two shots in 17:49 of action, and had one goal and three assists in seven AHL games before his recall.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Miromanov felt more like a long-term project when he was included as part of Calgary's return in the Noah Hanifin trade but was a fixture in the lineup after joining the Flames. In 20 appearances for the club, the converted defenseman notched three goals and four helpers, including a pair of power-play points, while seeing his average ice time jump from 18:03 with Vegas to 21:15 with Calgary. Looking ahead to 2024-25, the 27-year-old Russian should slot into the top four while also filling a spot with the No. 2 power-play unit. Given his offensive upside, Miromanov could be an intriguing late-round sleeper pick who flies under the radar on draft day.
