2025 Fantasy Outlook
Fabbro started last season with Nashville, appearing in six games without recording a point. The blueliner was subsequently waived by the Predators in November and immediately scooped up by Columbus. The 27-year-old went on to produce nine goals, 26 points, 136 blocked shots and a plus-23 rating over 62 outings with his new team. The British Columbia native was rewarded with a four-year contract from the Blue Jackets in June. The two-way rearguard certainly benefited from skating next to a star in Zach Werenski, and that pair will likely remain together in 2025-26. That should do wonders for Fabbro’s fantasy value over a full season, and it might be a surprise if he doesn’t reach the 30-point threshold for the first time in his career. He's added 10 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 10 appearances. Fabbro is currently on the third pairing, and as such, he has little upside for fantasy unless his recent run of offense gets him back into the top four.

Having recently completed his fifth full NHL season, Fabbro's numbers were down across the board. He was limited to just 56 games, managing three goals and 13 points. His ice time has dipped three straight seasons, all the way down to 16:21 per game in 2023-24. This was a guy that averaged north of 19 minutes each of his first three years in the league. With one year left on his contract before unrestricted free agency, Fabbro is a candidate to lose additional playing time to fellow righties Alexandre Carrier and Luke Schenn. He's not a fantasy option in any format.
