ANALYSIS
After signing a two-year contract in July, Frank will look to make his first NHL appearance during the 2024-25 season. The first year of the 26-year-old's deal is two-way before it transitions to a one-way deal in year two. This allows Washington flexibility with sending Frank down to the AHL, at least in the first year. The Nebraska native notched 47 points in 64 contests with AHL Hershey in 2023-24. Frank would likely be limited to bottom-six minutes if he makes the team.
