2025 Fantasy Outlook
Perreault had another standout season as a sophomore at Boston College last year, notching 16 goals and 32 assists in 37 games, before making the jump to the NHL. That didn’t go quite as well, with the 20-year-old going scoreless over five games while also serving as a healthy scratch. That being said, assuming all goes well in the offseason, there’s no reason that he shouldn’t be in the Rangers' lineup to start the season, even if it’s not as a top-six option. The gifted offensive winger will probably claim a spot on the second power-play unit if he makes the lineup, but the even-strength production might be a bit harder to come by. Regardless, spending a late-round pick on him in deeper formats is a worthwhile bet on his offensive talent shining through. Read Past Outlooks
Logs helper in return
Perreault posted an assist in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Capitals.
ANALYSIS
Perreault missed one game due to an illness, but it didn't slow down the momentum he's building in a second-line role. The Rangers' top prospect has a goal and two assists over three games during his current NHL stint, and if he can keep scoring, he'll likely stay in the lineup. He has earned four points, three shots on net, six blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over six appearances with the big club this year.
