The rearguard appeared in a career-high 51 games in 2022-23, managing two goals, 14 points, and a minus-18 rating. With the depth chart in Dallas considerably deeper than that of the Blue Jackets, it would be far from surprising if Bayreuther began the upcoming season in either the press box or the AHL.
