2025 Fantasy Outlook
Fleury had seven assists, six PIM, 38 shots, 48 hits and 56 blocks across 39 regular-season appearances with Winnipeg in 2024-25. He inked a two-year deal with the Jets over the summer, so he’ll be staying put, but Fleury is far from a safe bet to secure a role on the Jets’ third pairing. Don’t be surprised if the 29-year-old ends up spending a good chunk of the campaign as a healthy scratch, and plan accordingly. Read Past Outlooks

Won't play Monday
Fleury (kneecap) will not be in the lineup against the Islanders on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Fleury averaged 15:40 of ice time through the first two games of the season but will now have to watch from the sidelines due to his kneecap injury. With Fleury on the shelf, veteran Colin Miller is expected to make his 2025-26 season debut on the third pairing with Luke Schenn. Even once cleared to play, Fleury is unlikely to offer enough offensive upside to be more than a mid-range fantasy target in deeper formats.

2014
Fleury signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Jets, after spending the last two seasons with the Lightning, where he played in a combined 53 regular-season games over the two campaigns. Fleury has been a disappointment during his NHL career, after he was selected with the No. 7 pick in the 2014 Draft by the Hurricanes. Fleury played 67 games as a 21-year-old with Carolina, but has never played in more than 47 NHL games in any season since his rookie campaign in 2017-18. Fleury will compete with Logan Stanley, Ville Heinola and Dylan Coghlan for the sixth and seventh spots on the Jets blue line, but that will not be enough to warrant Fleury being a consideration on draft day.

Latest Fantasy Rumors

Hoping to stay with Jets
Fleury would like to remain with Winnipeg next season, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Fleury failed to find the back of the net this season, registering zero goals on 38 shots in 39 regular-season appearances. Considering the 28-year-old netminder's minimal usage at the NHL level, it's unlikely he would receive a significant raise this offseason, regardless of whether he remains with the Jets or signs elsewhere.
