Solovyov appeared in five games with the Flames in 2024-25 after being promoted from AHL Calgary in February, but he finished out the year in the minors after being demoted in March. The Belarus native had a decent overall showing with the Wranglers, accounting for six goals, 28 points and a plus-8 rating over 59 regular-season outings. The left-shot blueliner was a seventh-round pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, so it’d be impressive if he can carve out a career in the world’s best hockey league, but he’s unlikely to ever be a major player in fantasy.
