Jack Ahcan

Ahcan got into just two regular-season games with the Avalanche in 2024-25, but the club appears to be satisfied with how he’s performed at the AHL level, as the 5-foot-8 blueliner inked a one-year, two-way contract over the summer. Ahcan’s offensive output has increased in each of the last four campaigns in the minors -- he supplied five goals, 41 points and a plus-6 rating over 69 regular-season outings with AHL Colorado last year. However, he’s never been able to establish himself as a regular at the NHL level, and it’s unlikely that will change at this stage of the 28-year-old’s career. Read Past Outlooks
