Jake Neighbours

22-Year-Old Left WingLW
St. Louis Blues
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Neighbours tied for second on the Blues with 27 goals last season while chipping in 11 assists, 145 shots on net and 138 hits in 77 games. He also ranked fourth on the team with 14 power-play points. Following a slow start, the 22-year-old forward began to contribute offensively in bunches before finishing the campaign with seven tallies and three helpers in his final 12 appearances. Neighbours sat out five contests to conclude the season but should be ready for training camp. He will receive every opportunity to continue his upward trajectory in 2024-25 while occupying a spot in the top six and seeing plenty of time on the man advantage. Neighbours could lead St. Louis in goals, and with a little more consistency, he may flirt with the 50-point plateau during the upcoming campaign. Read Past Outlooks

Sends assist in win
LWSt. Louis Blues
March 1, 2025
Neighbours registered an assist and three hits in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Neighbours has five points over his last three games, a vast improvement on the seven-game slump that came before this stretch. The 22-year-old winger helped out on a Pavel Buchnevich tally in the first period of Saturday's victory. Neighbours remains on the top line at even strength and has 15 goals, 15 helpers, 100 shots on net, 137 hits and a minus-2 rating through 61 appearances. He should challenge the 40-point mark if he stays healthy down the stretch.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Neighbours spent about half of last season in the St. Louis lineup, managing a mere six goals and 10 points in 43 games. He missed a month late in the year with an upper-body ailment before returning for the Blues' final 13 games. The No. 26 overall pick in 2020, Neighbours, has the look of a hardworking, high-floor prospect who is best suited for a bottom-six energy role at the NHL level. It's not a skill set that projects to lead to fantasy production down the road, but there's still likely another level to be found in the 21-year-old's offense.

Expected to play Thursday
LWSt. Louis Blues
January 16, 2025
Neighbours, who is dealing with an upper-body injury, will likely be available for Thursday's game against the Flames, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Neighbours is considered questionable for Thursday's matchup, but his usage during the team's morning skate was encouraging and signals that he may be able to suit up despite his upper-body injury. He's been held without a point in three consecutive games, registering six hits, five blocked shots and a plus-1 rating while averaging 17:07 of ice time across that span.
