Jamieson Rees

Rees very quietly took a significant step forward in his third AHL campaign last year, finishing with 14 goals and 42 points in 68 games. The 2019 second-rounder (44th overall) was a big scorer in his junior days, so it was nice to see him start to pile up the points as a professional. Rees will almost certainly begin this coming season back in the minors, but the 22-year-old has put himself in a position to be one of the first recalls for the Hurricanes should injuries strike.
