Jaycob Megna

Megna had it good early in 2022-23, racking up 12 points over 48 games with the Sharks and occasionally riding shotgun during part of Erik Karlsson's historic campaign. In February, Megna was dealt to the Kraken, where he failed to record a point in six appearances while serving as a spare defenseman. The 30-year-old blueliner may have to settle for a similar role in 2023-24, as the Kraken signed Brian Dumoulin to presumably work in a third-pairing role. Megna's unlikely to see more than bottom-four minutes when he is in the lineup, though he could also lose his roster spot if Ryker Evans impresses the Seattle brass in training camp.
