2025 Fantasy Outlook
Lindholm enjoyed a full 82-game season for the first time since his 42-goal 2021-22 campaign, but his 2024-25 season was far from those marks. The 30-year-old scored just 17 goals and added 30 assists in his first year with the Bruins. Staying healthy for a full season is encouraging, but the stark decline in his production is alarming. Signed to be the top-line center in Boston, he finished the year as the second-line center while also spending some time on the third line. He produced 14 points as part of Boston’s top power-play group that was banged up throughout the season, and that number should increase if key pieces like Charlie McAvoy stay healthy in 2025-26. Dedicating the offseason to preparation instead of recovery could help the two-way center begin camp fresh and ready to try and live up to the seven-year, $54.25 million contract he signed last offseason. Slides power-play helper Thursday
Lindholm distributed a power-play assist, put two shots on net and served 12 PIM in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Oilers.
ANALYSIS
Lindholm recorded the primary helper on Pavel Zacha's power-play goal near the end of Thursday's first period. With the apple, Lindholm is up to 17 assists, 22 points, 36 shots on net, 22 hits and 23 blocks across 25 games this season. Over his last 10 games, the 31-year-old center has 13 points, 13 shots on goal and eight blocks. When he's been healthy this season, he has heavily contributed to Boston's top six and has helped the Bruins reside in a playoff spot in the Atlantic Division for the majority of the past two weeks. Lindholm averages nearly one major stat per game, apart from goals, proving that he is an excellent fantasy option in category-based leagues. Barring injury, he is on pace to surpass the 47 points he totaled in 82 games in his first season with the Bruins.

It was a bountiful opening of free agency for Lindholm, as he penned a seven-year, $54.25 million deal with Boston. After being traded to the Canucks at the deadline last season, the two-way center underwhelmed with just 12 points in 26 regular-season outings with Vancouver. The Bruins will be hoping they are getting the playoff version of Lindholm, as he tallied five goals and five assists, including two power-play points, in 13 playoff appearances. While far from a lock, Lindholm projects to slot into a first-line role with Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak to start the 2024-25 campaign. With that assignment in hand, a 40-goal campaign, something he's done just once in his career, is certainly a possibility - though a more conservative expectation would likely be in the 30-35 goal range.

Making strides in recovery
Lindholm is getting closer to returning from a lower-body injury and could travel with the team for a three-game West Coast trip, Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe reports Monday.
ANALYSIS
Lindholm has been out of action for the Bruins' previous seven games due to his lower-body injury and figures to remain sidelined for at least Monday's contest against the Hurricanes. Prior to getting hurt, the 30-year-old center was putting together a decent start to the 2025-26 campaign with four goals and five helpers, including seven power-play points, in 13 outings.
