Still mulling over future
Snuggerud has yet to decide on whether to turn pro or return to the University of Minnesota next season, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports Monday.
ANALYSIS
According to Rutherford, realistically the earliest Snuggerud could debut for the Blues this season would be Thursday's matchup with Nashville. That would leave him with just seven games remaining, which wouldn't burn through a year of an entry-level contract. The 19-year-old winger also wrapped up his sophomore season with the Gophers, leaving him two more years of collegiate eligibility. Whenever Snuggerud does make the jump, he could skip the AHL entirely, having racked up 84 points in 79 games for Minnesota.
