2025 Fantasy Outlook
Foudy earned 45 points over 70 games with AHL Bridgeport last season. It's decent production, but at 25 years old, it's unclear if the 2018 first-round pick will get a consistent chance to prove himself at the NHL level any time soon. Foudy will likely get the chance to compete for an Opening Night roster spot on an Islanders team in need of offense, but he's a long shot to make the roster. A strong showing with Bridgeport could earn him some call-ups in the middle of the 2025-26 campaign. Read Past Outlooks

Goal, assist for Bridgeport in win
Foudy scored a goal on four shots and added an assist in AHL Bridgeport's 6-2 win over Belleville on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Foudy was waived in September, and he's unlikely to see much time at the NHL level this year. He got into two games with the Islanders last season but failed to record a point. At the AHL level, he did alright with 20 goals and 45 points in 70 regular-season contests, but he also had a minus-31 rating, which suggests his defensive work isn't at an acceptable level for a long-term stint with the big club.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
2020
Foudy was limited to 13 NHL appearances in 2024-25, splitting time between the Blue Jackets and Predators. He had three assists in those games and added just 16 points in 28 outings with AHL Milwaukee. Despite those uninspiring results, Foudy was able to land a two-way contract with the Islanders in the offseason. His new team looks set down the middle for 2024-25, so it's unlikely Foudy sees much NHL time unless he makes a move to the wing, and even then, he'll be limited to bottom-six minutes.

Latest Fantasy Rumors

Continues to sit
Foudy is expected to sit as a healthy scratch for a fifth straight contest Tuesday against the Panthers, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.
ANALYSIS
Foudy would likely already be in the minors if he were exempt from waivers, as he's been a healthy scratch for six of Columbus' last 10 games, and the 2018 first-round pick presumably still has plenty of developing to do at just 22 years old. Foudy's tallied three helpers while averaging 10:49 of ice time through 14 NHL appearances this year.
