However, down in the AHL playoffs, he turned heads as he led Abbotsford in scoring (26 points in 24 games) during their run to the Calder Cup Finals. Karlsson is coming off a fantastic season in Sweden in which he racked up 26 goals and 20 assists in 52 games for Skelleftea AIK, resulting in him being named rookie of the year in the SHL. It's hard to imagine the Canucks will stick Karlsson in the minors given his offensive upside, so fantasy players may expect to see him on the 23-man roster for Opening Night of the 2022-23 campaign.
