Mulling over options
Johansson hasn't decided whether to make the jump to the AHL or head back to QMJHL Moncton, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI reports Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Johansson made the move to North America last year, suiting up in 62 regular-season games for Moncton in which he notched four goals and 18 helpers. While he was somewhat limited during the regular season, the 19-year-old blueliner went off in the postseason, racking up two goals and nine helpers in 19 outings. Selected by the Bruins in the sixth round of the 2024 NHL Draft, Johansson is probably still several years away from getting a crack at the NHL roster, even if he does make the move to AHL Providence this year.
