Louis Crevier

24-Year-Old DefensemanD
Chicago Blackhawks
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Crevier isn't guaranteed a spot in the Blackhawks' lineup as one of many young defensemen in the organization, but the 24-year-old could carve out a bottom-four role if younger players aren't ready to step up. He's produced just seven points with a minus-22 rating over 56 appearances across the last two seasons. Crevier still brings some thump -- he had 70 hits in just 32 games last year -- and will likely need to make an impact through physical play rather than scoring. That leaves him with minimal fantasy potential for 2025-26. Read Past Outlooks

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Crevier is a defensive defenseman who ate some minutes with the rebuilding Blackhawks last season. He finished with three assists, a minus-16 rating, 30 hits and 50 blocks in 24 contests while averaging 15:41 of ice time. Although you can write off his poor plus/minus as a function of playing for a bad squad, his analytics suggest that Crevier struggled even relative to the low bar set by his teammates. That makes it hard to get too excited about his prospects for this season, especially with the competition on the Blackhawks' blue line fiercer following the summer additions of Alec Martinez and T.J. Brodie. Still, if the 23-year-old Crevier can find his way into the lineup, then he should be a good source of hits and blocks.
