It’s no mystery what kind of player Pospisil is. He ranked 18th in the league in PIM with 84 and tied for third in hits with 301 across 81 appearances with Calgary in 2024-25. He also chipped in a bit offensively, but his four goals and 25 points certainly wasn’t at the heart of his value. Still just 25 years old (26 on Nov. 19), Pospisil figures to employ his physical style for many seasons to come. The Flames recalled Pospisil from AHL Calgary on Tuesday after he appeared in two minor-league outings during a conditioning assignment. He skated on the fourth line during Tuesday's practice, according to Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan, and could make his NHL season debut against Pittsburgh on Wednesday. The 26-year-old Pospisil had four goals, 25 points, 114 shots on net, 301 hits and 84 PIM across 81 games during the 2024-25 regular season.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Following a promising rookie campaign, Pospisil suffered a shoulder injury at the 2024 IIHF World Championship. He is expected to be ready for training camp in the fall. Through 63 games last season, he dished out 238 hits and recorded 107 PIM. He's not just a wrecking ball, though, as he tallied eight goals and 16 assists as well. Pospisil will have a unique fantasy floor in his second NHL season as long as he's healthy, but his upside will be capped due to his projected bottom-six assignment.
