Matt Luff

Luff didn't stand out in 2019-20 with five points in 18 games, just one year after he had 11 points in 33 games as a rookie. The 23-year-old winger isn't likely to see much more than fourth-line minutes in 2020-21, so there's little reason for fantasy managers to pay him much attention. If Luff can earn a regular role in the lineup, he still likely won't collect more than 15 points, and he adds almost nothing in terms of physicality or special-teams work. The undrafted forward will also need to fend off a challenge from Samuel Fagemo for playing time.

The 22-year-old winger got his first taste of the NHL last season, scoring eight goals and 11 points in 33 games for the Kings, with most of that production coming before Christmas. Luff has the makings of a future power forward -- he stands 6-3 and features a heavy, accurate shot -- but he needs to add some more muscle and is still learning to use his size in high-traffic areas. His work ethic is a point in his favor, though, as he went undrafted out of juniors, and he could be one of the players who helps force the issue when it comes to pushing some of the Kings' veterans out the door. His skill set could also be an asset on the power play, and if he starts earning a regular shift with the man advantage, Luff could make a surprising fantasy impact in 2019-20.
