2025 Fantasy Outlook
Zadorov made his presence felt in 2024-25, both on the stat sheet and with his 6-foot-6, 240-pound frame. He matched his career-high with 22 points, posted a personal-best plus-25 rating, led the NHL with 145 penalty minutes and logged a career-high 20:36 of ice time per game. Boston may be retooling this offseason, but Zadorov will be firmly in the mix, and while the towering blueliner may not offer a lot offensively, his counting stats still make him a solid late-round fantasy target. Nabs assist in win
Zadorov logged an assist, three hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Capitals.
ANALYSIS
Zadorov was listed on the third pairing but still saw 21:59 of ice time Wednesday. He doesn't have particularly high scoring upside -- his career high is 22 points, which he set in 81 outings in 2024-25. Zadorov could still help fantasy managers in banger leagues, as he's topped the 200-hit and 100-PIM marks in three campaigns each.

Zadorov compiled six goals, 20 points, 90 shots on net, 68 blocked shots, 177 hits and 125 PIM across 75 regular-season appearances between Vancouver and Calgary last season. He signed a six-year, $30 million contract with Boston in July. Zadorov will occupy a top-four shutdown role with the Bruins while seeing some time on the penalty kill. His physical play and modest category coverage make him worthy of fantasy consideration, but he won't contribute much offensively and has only topped 100 blocks in a season once before.

Latest Fantasy Rumors

Could be Bruins' target
Zadorov is reportedly a free-agency target for Boston when the market opens Monday, per The Boston Globe.
ANALYSIS
Zadorov split last season between the Flames and Canucks, logging a combined 75 regular-season contests and notching six goals, 14 assists and 175 hits along the way. It was the third straight season in which the 29-year-old defenseman reached the 20-point threshold -- a mark that will likely remain close to his ceiling offensively with the Bruins.
