Acciari enters the final season of his three-year Penguins deal with one clear job: bring the grit. He'll kill penalties, throw the body, and maybe pot a few hard-earned goals in the process. The 33-year-old winger's 20-goal season in 2019-20 was an outlier, as he hasn't exceeded 10 goals in any other campaign and mustered just 12 points across 79 games in 2024-25. Once recovered from a hip injury that cost him the final three games of last season, Acciari will likely be a staple of Pittsburgh's bottom six, but his fantasy value is minimal in most formats. Injuries limited Acciari to only 55 games for the Penguins last season, including missing the final 12 contests while dealing with a lower-body issue. Even when he can stay fit, the veteran center has only reached the 25-point threshold once in his nine-year NHL career. The addition of Kevin Hayes in free agency figures to firmly cement Acciari in a fourth-line role this upcoming season - though he could be an option to move to wing if needed. Regardless of where he lines up, Acciari shouldn't be expected to produce much in terms of fantasy value.
